Craft Bakehouse is a bakery operation providing professionally handcrafted pastries made with a rustic approach.  Craft Bakehouse provides high quality, desserts made from scratch, specializing in small-batch pies, cakes, bakery classics, and pastry catering. Craft Bakehouse is focused on offering desserts that highlight seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.



Colleen has always had a passion for baking which began as a young girl, standing on a stool at the kitchen counter with her grandmother dabbling in dough. Colleen went on to study baking and pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and Food Service Management, with a concentration in Contemporary Pastry Arts. She has been working in the foodservice industry since 2011, gaining experience along the way.


Andrea holds a Bachelor's in Culinary Arts Management and an Associates in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in addition to an Associate's in Baking and Pastry from Kendall College.  Combining her 12+ years of experience in Culinary and Baking and Pastry she's had the opportunity to work in a variety of work settings. Andrea has worked and managed bakeries in Phoenix, Providence and Chicago. She most recently owned Whipped Pastries in Oak Park, IL.

Colleen and Andrea met while baking together at Olga’s Cup and Saucer in Providence, Rhode Island. Over the years, they were able to develop and cultivate their professional relationship, and a strong friendship flourished. With Colleen’s specialty in pies and Andrea’s specialty in pastry catering, they both established successful businesses. They join forces to bring complementary talents to their business.
